Are you an experienced and qualified accountant looking to thrive in a supportive, flexible, and long-established team? Club Connective is hiring on behalf of our client for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their friendly office in Tamworth.

You will be involved with a wide range of clients from different industry sectors, and varying sizes. The role will require you to work on a portfolio of clients, with responsibility for liaising with the client and managing jobs through to completion. Candidates must have at least 3 years previous experience in an accountancy practice.

The Role
As a Semi Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Assisting with audits for limited companies.
• Preparing corporation and personal tax returns.
• Managing monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
• Handling payroll and pension processing.

What We re Looking For
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
• Fully qualified AAT (Level 3 or 4).
• Proficient in IT tools such as Microsoft Office and Sage.
• Excellent communication skills with team members and clients.
• A collaborative mindset to work within a friendly team environment.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous audit experience is highly valued.
• Open to part-time candidates looking for flexibility.
