Legal Counsel

We are representing a global financial technology company, specialising in Consumer Credit in their search for a Legal Counsel to be based in their London Office. This role is perfect for someone with a great understanding of commercial contracts, regulation and compliance and ability to manage and mitigate potential legal risks to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic legal advice on a range of issues including corporate, commercial, and data protection
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and guidelines
• Assisting in litigation matters surrounding the business and working with external counsel where appropriate
• Collaborating with wider team to ensure company is compliant with relevant regulations and interacting with relevant regulatory bodies (FCA)
• Working closely with other departments including Finance, Compliance and Risk

Qualifications:

• NQ-3 years PQE E & W Qualified Lawyer
• Strong skills in drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance (FCA)
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities
• Must possess experience within a FCA regulated environment
