Heathrow Multi Faith Chaplaincy charity CIO is based at the airport and seeks to support everyone's life journey. The airport is a place of great diversity where all life passes through, and our team of chaplains (paid and volunteers) from Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and Sikh traditions operate across all terminals, interacting with passengers and staff in a variety of situations.
With an increased budget of £250k, Heathrow Multi Faith Chaplaincy is expecting to expand in 2025. We are looking to appoint a person of faith with financial expertise to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer. This is a chance to be part of an exciting time of development in chaplaincy at Heathrow.
The Board of Trustees meets online for two hours five times a year and has an additional in-person away day. Between meetings, there may be emails to read and respond to. The Treasurer is responsible for presenting management accounts on a quarterly basis, developing an annual budget ( £250k), and overseeing two payment runs a month. Payroll is outsourced.
