Job Description

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £60,290 per annum

Hours: 42 hours per week - 4x on 4x off alternating days and nights

Shifts: 1x week of days and then a week of nights

Orion is partnered with a well-established food manufacturing business located in London, which is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:
  • Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical, and mechanical issues during breakdowns.
  • Continuous improvement projects on site.
  • Implement our engineering strategy with consistency and efficiency.
  • Deliver improvement projects on time and within budget.
  • Support site performance by focusing on KPIs such as OEE and CCOs.
  • Maintain high standards of safe working practices.
  • Provide training and coaching to operators and other engineers.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience:
  • Must have experience working within the FMCG industry.
  • Must have experience working in food manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in training and coaching junior engineers.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with a motivation for continuous improvement.
  • Time served apprentice with an Electrical bias, supported by suitable experience.
  • Alternatively, C&G 2346-03 Electro-technical Experienced worker qualification.
  • HND/HNC Qualification.
  • Electrical qualifications.
