Executive Director - Asset and Liability Management - Investment Bank - London

Our Asset Liability Management Desk is responsible for treasury operation of our London Office, which includes executing each currency's money market transactions and funding support for the continental offices. The desk is also responsible for liquidity management, maintaining relationships with liquidity providers, diversifying funding sources, and quality reporting.

The ideal candidate at Executive Director level will be responsible for introducing innovation to the design and delivery of new ideas, products, and services that support efficient and stable ALM solutions. In addition to these, it's required to execute Derivatives (such as IRS swaps), money market transactions, and new products in order to control the balance sheet and its interest/liquidity risks.

Duties

1. Leading functional team to achieve the team's quantitative and qualitative goals.
2. Identify new business, competitive strategies, and methodologies to improve the quality of our business.
3. Empower individuals to take responsibility for their goals.
4. Coach, mentor, and develop the team in a positive and constructive manner.
5. Supporting branches and subsidiaries.
6. Carrying out the banking operations with authorised products within the specified limits.
7. Maintain and enhance networking with liquidity providers and regulators.
8. FTP control, balance sheet control, contingent liquidity control.
9. Complying with regulatory requirements.
10. Broad and sound knowledge/experience of market (money market, cross currency market, rates market, collateral finance & repo, and other capital market).
11. Experience of working in ALM and/or Treasury business in a financial institution.
12. Communication skills for team working.
13. Presentation skills about strategy planning.
