Hours: Full-time Salary: PO5 (SP 39-42) £51,099 - £54,135, (a higher salary could be negotiated for an exceptional candidate)

About the Role

As our School Business Leader, you will:

  • Lead on the strategic management of school finances, HR, premises, health and safety, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the school operates effectively and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and contribute to SLT discussions, offering valuable insights and playing an integral part in school leadership.
  • Lead, develop and inspire the administration and premises teams, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Proactively seek opportunities for income generation and ensure best value in all aspects of procurement and resource management.

  • Is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in financial and operational management, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Has strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Is solutions-focused, proactive, and able to balance operational demands with long-term goals.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Shares our vision and values and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our pupils and staff.
