Panel Wirer £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Permanent job opportunity ReeVR are looking for a skilled Panel Wirer to join their established and growing manufacturing company. Role Overview As the Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for building electrical control panels and supporting field wiring activities on equipment. You will work from electrical and mechanical drawings to assemble, wire, test, and prepare panels for delivery, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout. The role as the Panel Wirer may also involve occasional travel for installation and commissioning support. Key Responsibilities for the Panel Wirer Build electrical panels in accordance with electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Carry out wiring, cable management, and component installation to precise specifications Perform IO testing, sensor setup, and fault-finding on wiring issues Test all completed panels prior to dispatch, ensuring full compliance and functionality Assist with field wiring, device configuration, and equipment commissioning Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace following Health & Safety procedures Communicate effectively with the engineering team regarding build progress and issues Manage and track electrical stock levels and report shortages Ensure panels are correctly packaged and prepared for delivery Job Requirements Proven experience in industrial equipment panel wiring and field wiring Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Strong problem-solving abilities and good communication skills Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning projects Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar electrical panel wiring role 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred but not essential) BTEC, Apprenticeship, or NVQ in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred) Apply today or Contact Abby Maslin at ReeVR Talent to find out more about the role.
