Job Title: Test Manager
Location: Wokingham (Hybrid - 3 days in the office per week)
Contract: 6 months

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract, based in Wokingham. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, capable of handling complex stakeholder relationships and driving test strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the overall testing strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with challenging stakeholders, effectively communicating test plans, risks, and results.
  • Oversee testing activities, ensuring quality assurance across operational technologies and cloud-based systems.
  • Leverage knowledge of automation tools, particularly Playwright, to enhance testing processes.
  • Lead and inspire teams, commanding respect and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and influence difficult stakeholders.
  • Experience in operational technologies and cloud systems within the energy industry.
  • No hands-on testing experience required, but automation experience (Playwright preferred) is a plus.
  • Ability to define and implement test strategies, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
