GSL Education is a trusted provider of skilled teaching staff to schools in Maidenhead and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school dedicated to fostering student growth and success.

The Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and working closely with students to promote their academic and personal development. This role involves working with small groups or individuals to provide targeted interventions, assisting in lesson delivery, and ensuring every child feels supported and included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with classroom organisation and the preparation of resources.
• Monitor and track student progress, reporting back to the class teacher.
• Help manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies.

About You:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
