GSL Education is a trusted provider of high-quality teaching staff to schools across Windsor and the surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a forward-thinking school committed to supporting students with special educational needs.

The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students who have a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, and other learning challenges. You will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons, supporting individual learning plans, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
• Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a safe and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure student success.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Promote an inclusive and nurturing learning environment where all students feel valued.

About You:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working with students with SEN, particularly ASD and SEMH.
• A strong understanding of strategies to support SEN learners.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to teaching.
• Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
