Cover supervisors required for Secondary school in Bristol
Are you looking to become a more regular fixture for one particular school as a cover supervisor rather than going here, there and all over Bristol? Do you have experience as a cover supervisor?
I am interested in speaking with anyone that is looking for either part time or full time work as a cover supervisor for a secondary school in the BS14 area of Bristol. The school have a great team that make cover work really well and offer good support, a strutured day and policies around behaviour that actually do what they are intended for. The school is located in a bright and modern environment and is easy to navigate around.
Working hours are 8:30 - 3:30, between Monday to Friday and term time only.
Requirements;
- Experience in working with children is a must, along with having worked as a cover supervisor previously. If not we would be happy to train someone as a cover supervisor, but you will need to have strong experience as a TA and be educated to A-level or equivilent.
- Good classroom management and able to keep behavioural disruptions to a minimum and keep students engaged in their learning.
- Be flexible to the needs of the school and go where needed. This means being happy to deliver lessons in various subjects.
- Reliable and punctual and happy to come in last minute if the request comes in; much of cover supervisor works is to cover daily sicknesses a school will have.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one as part of your application
