Mechanical Engineer

We are actively seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to work for an organisation with sites in East Anglia, the South East and the South Coast. The contract will last an initial 3 months but with likely extension or permanent contract

Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: East Anglia, the South East and the South Coast
Pay rate: 25 to 29 per hour on an Umbrella or CIS basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical maintenance on prison sites including reactive repairs and planned upgrades
• Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment
• Repairs to mains water supply
• Fault finding and lifecycle works
• Ensure health and safety of prisoners and prison staff
• Support Electricians, Carpenters, Decorators and Cleaners in the Facilities Management team
• Includes weekend shifts and nights on call
• Level 3 Plumber or equivalent
