Locum Dispensary Pharmacist (NHS Hospital - Hampshire)

Hunter AHP are currently seeking a Locum Dispensary Pharmacist to join a NHS hospital team in Hampshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist with a passion for patient care to gain experience in a hospital setting, with full training provided for those coming from a community pharmacy background.

Key Details:

• Position: Locum Dispensary Pharmacist
• Location: NHS Hospital, Hampshire
• Availability: 3, 4, or 5 days per week
• Hourly Rate: £24 - £28 per hour
• Contract Type: Ongoing contract
• Experience: Previous hospital OPD experience is desirable but not essential

About the Role: As a dispensary pharmacist within the hospital, you will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medication to patients, providing professional advice on the safe and effective use of medicines, and ensuring that all pharmacy procedures comply with NHS guidelines. You'll work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment that encourages ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

• Registered with the GPhC
• Previous hospital experience in an OPD setting is desirable (community pharmacists are encouraged to apply, with training provided)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Availability for 3, 4, or 5 days per week
