Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machinery to fabricate and assemble high-quality sheet metal components. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure precision and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate sheet metal parts according to specifications.
• Assemble components using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
• Grind and weld components as necessary, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operating laser cutting machinery or similar equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand tooling and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and performing basic welding tasks.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques is advantageous.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
