Cover Supervisor

A well regarded school just outside of Portsmouth is currently looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor on a long-term or potentially permanent basis.

This opportunity via ANZUK education is a good chance for somebody with experience as a Cover Supervisor to join a great team who would support them in their further Career Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and engaging students in their learning
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere
• Supporting the educational progress of our students
• Have good behaviour management skills to manage the classroom in line with the schools policies.
• Since your primary role is supervising a classroom when the teacher is absent, you don't prepare lesson plans. The class teacher provides the teaching materials and items necessary for the lesson.
• Be willing to cover a range of subjects if necessary.
