Mechanical Design Manager

Artisan are looking for Mechanical Design Managers from Intermediate to Snr in Hampshire.

Your new role
As Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing mechanical design projects from conception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare Designs as appropriate and be able to carry out competent designs in accordance with standards and guidelines
• Prepare drawings hand drawn or PDF markups to allow Revit / CAD engineers to produce the model / drawings for installation
• Carry out calculations using the Design Portal
• Organise monthly catchup meetings with Contract Engineers assigned to their projects
• Identify training requirements to continue professional development
• Assist with Training of apprentices
• Assist contracts team during project installations
• Attend design meetings maintaining communication levels with all design team
• Identify design risks whilst carrying out design and inform the design team
• Carry out tasks complying with Company Management Policy and Quality Systems
• Carry out tasks in line Company Strategy
