Fitter / Installation Technician

Supreme Recruitment are looking for a Fitter / Installation Technician on a temporary basis (8-10 weeks).

Predominately you will be a fitter, however fitting requirements can fluctuate therefore you will be working within the manufacturing department during these low appointment periods.

Job Title: Fitter / Manufacturing Operative

Overnight stay allowance: £25 per night (all hotels are Premier Inns)

Early start allowance: hours before 6am paid at 1.5x

Overtime: Week days and Saturday paid at 1.5x, Sundays paid at 2x

Fitter Hours: Monday Thursday 7am 5pm

Fitter Role:

Working within a small team of Fitters, visiting hospital throughout the UK to complete new installations and to perform curtain exchanges.

The job involves working away most weeks, staying in hotels Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, returning to the warehouse Thursday afternoon (Coleshill).

Manufacturing Operative:

When there is no Fitting work, the employee will be expected to work in the production area, quality checking and packing curtains.

When working in production you will need to fall in line with production shift patterns as detailed above.

Requirements:

• Driving license essential
• Own transportation desirable due to the occasional early starts and late finishes
• IT literate (email, Word, Excel)
• Good customer facing skills
• Good English essential
• Physically fit
• Good with paperwork / attention to detail
• Comfortable working away from home for up to 3 nights a week
• Flexible in their working hours (early starts / late finishes)
