Our Client a leading provider of concrete and frames solutions Based in Chadderton are seeking an experienced Groundworks/Civils Estimator to join there team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in groundworks, civils, and infrastructure to take the next step in their career.

Groundworks/Civils Estimator Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing and estimating general groundwork, excavation work, drainage work, and minor substructure concrete works
• Assisting in preparing tender submissions and cost estimates for groundworks/civils projects
• Reviewing and understanding project plans and specifications
• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing
• Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Assisting in the management of cost controls and budgets
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Ideal Groundworks/Civils Estimator:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in groundworks/civils/infrastructure estimating
• Experience with substructure concrete works, drainage, excavation, and general groundwork
• Previous experience with civils works and 278 works (not essential but advantageous)
• Ideally with some time spent working with a Main Contractor
• Subcontractor experience is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Clean driving license is preferred
