Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 3 months relevant experience (working with children or vulnerable adults) which can be referenced
- Have a valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one)
- Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Be a passionate practitioner with the desire to improve the education outcomes for all pupils
- Have excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels
- Be able to support and promote the ethos of the school
Duties:
- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher
- Follow lesson plans and ensure that students complete assigned work
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage student behaviour and enforce school policies
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed
- Communicate with teachers, parents, and school administrators regarding student progress and behaviour
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
