Role Senior Interior Designer
Salary - £38,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type - Permanent
Location Newcastle Upon-Tyne
Our client are an renowned interior design studio who has won multiple awards for their stunning projects in the UK; Currently in search for a well-rounded Senior Interior Designer, who has experience in luxury residential and commercial projects, to join their team in Newcastle.
You will ideally be a confident, passionate designer with strong technical skills, able to manage multiple projects, mostly high-end residential, with occasional boutique and hospitality work.
In this role, you ll create FF&E plans, detailed drawings (layouts, elevations, joinery) and lead smaller projects independently when required. As a senior designer, you ll be involved in client presentations, guiding junior designers, and maintaining key relationships with clients and suppliers. You'll also inspire the team and ensure high-quality design packages.
The Senior Interior Designer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or relevant qualifications.
- At least 5- 6 years of professional experience in high-end interior design.
- Proven track record of designing and leading large scale projects.
- Knowledge of high end residential FF&E and strong technical design.
- Experience leading UK and international projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.
- An interest in contributing to new business development and being client-facing.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively.
