We are now recruiting for a skilled and detail-orientated Powder Coater to join our team.

You should have a strong background in fabrication and mechanical processes, with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

As our Powder Coater, you will be specifically responsible for:

• Preparing surfaces for powder coating by cleaning and masking as necessary.
• Operating powder coating equipment, ensuring proper application techniques are followed.
• Inspecting finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
• Fabricating and assembling components as required prior to coating.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and reporting any issues promptly.

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

• An engineering background with an ability to read technical drawings.
• Demonstrable Experience in powder coating / paint shop / manufacturing
• The ability to use hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience in welding is advantageous but not essential.
• Basic maths skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
• Familiarity with painting techniques and processes.
• A strong attention to detail to finish items to a high standard
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to prioritise you own workload and work well under minimal supervision
