Full-Time Housekeeper

Warm Family Environment, Countryside Living

Salary: £13 - £15 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional weekend overtime

We are a warm and welcoming family looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team at our home in the Warwickshire countryside. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who thrives in a friendly household, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised home.

About the Role

You ll be a valued member of our household, supported by a friendly team on the estate.

Responsibilities include:

  • General housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, polishing, and keeping all rooms immaculate.
  • Laundry and clothing care, including washing, ironing, steaming, and organising.
  • Maintenance and care of furniture, art, collectibles, and silver.
  • Shopping for household essentials and running errands as needed.
  • Preparing delicious meals for the family.
  • Occasional assistance with our lively two-year-old boy.
  • Preparing for visitors and tending to their needs during their stay.
  • Helping with luggage, packing, and unpacking for trips.
  • Occasional feeding of our friendly dog.

  • Is trustworthy, reliable, and proactive with plenty of initiative.
  • Enjoys cooking and preparing meals to a high standard.
  • Has a warm, child-friendly attitude and can lend a hand with childcare when needed.
  • Is comfortable working around dogs and helping occasionally with their care.
  • Can adapt to the occasional schedule change.

Desirable Skills

  • Have knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and best practices.
  • Understand how to use and maintain a variety of cleaning equipment and supplies.
