ISQ Recruitment is currently looking for a Farm Supervisor on behalf of our client on the outskirts of Norwich. As Farm Supervisor, you will be acting as a support function to the Farm Manager, while leading and mentoring farm staff, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure smooth operations and adherence to farm procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and wellbeing of poultry, identifying and addressing any signs of illness or distress.
• Supervise the conditions of the poultry housing, ensuring correct temperature, ventilation, and lightning.
• Lead and manage farm staff, providing guidance, training, and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with local and industry regulations concerning poultry rearing, health standards, and animal welfare.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks, including managing footbaths, controlling visitors, and maintaining farm cleanliness.
