We are seeking a permanent Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Southwark Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service.
The post holder will join an established Multidisciplinary Team and support in the leadership and delivery of effective community CAMH services, in accordance with national guidance and guidelines, and in collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, and other relevant services in the statutory, private, and voluntary sectors.
This Consultant post offers an opportunity to join Southwark CAMHS and the CAMHS Clinical Academic Group of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, the most comprehensive mental health service for children and young people in the country.
Main duties of the jobThis post includes direct clinical activity and supporting professional activities, during which the post holder will contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement, in addition to completing continuous professional development and pursuing other professional activities.
