Produce technical responses and project execution statements (with support from the Health & Safety and project teams where needed). Draft initial tender programmes using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 (planner support available for larger, more complex projects). Collate and analyse information for take-offs and planned submissions. Attend site visits and client meetings across the UK as required. Interpret framework agreements and NEC4 contract types (Options A, C, and E). Qualifications: Proven experience in civil engineering and construction, ideally within the utilities sector. Strong commercial awareness with a keen eye for detail. Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and in a team environment. The Role Reporting into the senior leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee the delivery of accurate, competitive and commercially robust estimates across major frameworks, term service contracts and projects . Key responsibilities will include: Leading, developing and managing a national estimating team. Overseeing major tenders, frameworks and project estimates. Setting estimating standards, processes and best practice. Providing senior input into pricing strategy, commercial risk and bid governance.
