Qualifications: The Head of Cloud Solutions should possess the following: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on/deep technical experience across cloud, network, storage, security, and datacentre Responsibilities: Developing and owning presales engagements with new and existing customers supporting their successful cloud transformation journey Developing Brightsolid's customer success team, acting as the voice of the customer to support the development of strong customer relationships, drive renewals, and identify opportunities for growth Maintaining a deep understanding of the technology marketplace, trends, and innovative solutions Establishing strong and enduring partner relationships with Broadcom, Microsoft Partner Success and Account Management Teams, and developing Brightsolid's strong AWS relationship Upholding certifications and accreditations within the solution architect team and supporting training programs for engineering/services Leading and developing your team to present comprehensive customer RFPs, RFIs, and SoWs as part of the sales cycle Meeting personal KPIs and goal-oriented objectives Developing and maintaining technical skills to provide thought leadership and expertise to clients ABOUT YOU Experience and Skills: Demonstrated experience in architecting and providing technical pre-sales/solution architecture capabilities within customer-facing sales cycles Passion for engaging and leading in-person meetings with prospects and customers; comfortable with traveling across the UK Skills or deep interest in developing Microsoft Cloud skills or Amazon Web Services Deep knowledge and certifications related to the Microsoft Azure platform, such as Microsoft Azure Expert-Level certifications Broad technical knowledge encompassing all aspects of Cloud & Data Centre and Modern Workplace, including Azure SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, M365, VMware, and Microsoft technologies Cybersecurity and network engineering pre-sales experience are advantageous, but support will be provided from these business functions Contract: This is a full-time, permanent position working 35 hours per week. Location: Based in Brightsolid's offices in Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Manchester, with opportunities for remote and flexible work. Occasional in-office presence and travel are required, with a hybrid working policy requiring presence at a UK location at least twice a month at your manager's discretion.
