What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have proven experience handling litigation (whether acting for claimants, defendants, or both) with strong knowledge of relevant housing legislation, civil procedure, and pre-action protocol requirements. You will be confident drafting witness statements, injunction applications, legal instructions, and court documents, and comfortable engaging in legal research, analysing technical evidence, and coordinating expert involvement. Experience within the social housing sector, multi-complex litigation (such as ASB, possession, and enforcement), and courtroom advocacy will be advantageous. You should hold, or be working toward, a Law Degree, LPC, or CILEX qualification, and possess a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. This is a hands-on commercial role supporting the management of an allocated portfolio of projects. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors, you will take responsibility for day-to-day commercial administration, financial control and contract management.
