We are actively recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a full time, permanent basis, carrying out planned (ppm) and reactive maintenance / remedial works within commercial environments across Bedfordshire and surrounding areas within a 60-90 minute radius. As the mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will attend 1-2 sites per day, complete necessary PPMs and remedial works in-line with the company CAFM system, ensure jobs are logged correctly, job notes are updated and a detailed remedial report is provided. Duties/Equipment may include; electrical fault finding, wiring, cabling, sockets, circuits, emergency lighting, decorative lighting, interior/exterior security lighting, lamps, ballasts, floor boxes, low voltage switching, transformers, power distribution, electrical components within HVAC / building services equipment. 1st line faults and PPMs to HVAC / building services equipment such as lubrication, coil cleans and filter changes to AHUs, FCUs, Splits, Multi Splits etc. Employment Package: Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician Base Salary: 42,000 per annum Provided: Company van, fuel card, pension, uniform, tablet, phone etc. Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm: Site Based Location/Patch: Bedfordshire & surrounding (up to maximum of 90 minute radius). Paid overtime available: x1.5 - x2 rate. Call out: 1 in 4-6 weeks. 125 per week standby + minimum of 4 hours pay if called out. Status: PAYE - Paid Monthly. Requirements: Must be a qualified Electrician with up to date regulations: 18th edition. Experience working within a maintenance based role within commercial environments is highly preferable. Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.
