Main duties of the job We have a well-established oculoplastic service with high volume periocular skin cancer and lid malposition surgery. Endoscopic, endonasal and external lacrimal surgery is carried out both with and without assistance of ENT colleagues. There is a 6 weekly joint thyroid clinic with a consultant in endocrinology and orthoptic input and the majority of orbital cases are also managed locally. The key areas of activity the role is responsible for include generating and building relationships with community groups, organisations, volunteers and supporters, identifying new opportunities and leads within the region that will generate new income streams for the charity, and presenting to local organisations and groups within the region.
