The Head of Software Engineering is accountable for building and operating a high-performing engineering organisation that delivers secure, reliable, and maintainable software at pace. What you will do Strategy and Planning Define the engineering operating model, aligning architecture, delivery, and platform engineering to product goals. Quality and Security Set quality standards and test strategies (unit, integration, E2E, performance, security); implement coverage targets and defect escape thresholds. Embed secure coding and secure release practices. People Leadership and Organisation Lead architects, developers, testers, and tech authors; nurture craft disciplines and communities of practice. What to expect The Senior Aircraft Production Manager is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end aircraft production process for an eVTOL Type Certification programme and ongoing low-to-high-rate production. This role oversees aircraft and test asset production, production facility set-up and readiness, and the leadership of multidisciplinary production teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of aircraft in line with programme milestones. Operational technology systems are deployed throughout our geographical region to enable remote monitoring and control of water collection, treatment and distribution processes. As an OT Field Engineer, your primary focus will be the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of operational technology (OT) hardware, systems, and networks. This critical infrastructure is essential for the real-time monitoring and control of operational plant and processes across our Water and Water Recycling estate.
