Ensure, as far as reasonably practical, that all persons on site observe the requirements of JSP 375, work closely with the Mobile Authorised Persons team to ensure compliance. Ensure compliance with the Asbestos register and management plan and, where required, take on the duties of Asbestos Responsible Person. Ensure compliance with the Legionella management plan and, where required, take on the duties of Legionella Responsible Person. Support management in providing optimal solutions to customer requirements including acting as a single point of contact (SPOC) to resolve end user issues. Understand operational priorities of the HoE, develop and maintain close working and effective relationships with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and end users to pro-actively support estate activities and provide professional and technical advice as required. We have a particular strength in the field of commercial real estate services, investment companies and multi-sited corporates. We are registered under the Legionella Control Association and services include: * legionella risk assessments * water safety consultancy * training and advisory services * market leading risk management and compliance software We're growing strongly and this expansion means we're looking to further strengthen our team with an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor. Responsibilities * Undertaking Legionella risk assessments and audits of domestic hot and cold water systems * Writing of technical reports * Collection of microbiological samples and submission to our partner laboratory * Promote effective health and safety governance, risk management and compliance Essential criteria * Solid experience of undertaking legionella risk assessments of domestic water systems * Good understanding of the Legislation/Guidance surrounding the control of legionella bacteria * Ability to work individually and as part of a larger team * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal is essential * UK Driving License Desirable * Previous experience of working for a consultancy * Experience risk assessing and auditing evaporative cooling systems, training will be provided if not * A Science/Engineering degree * Membership of The Water Management Society * Previous experience using AutoCAD The role is home-based and there will be regular travel to client sites within London and across the SE.
