The role will also involve working with Network Rail and internal teams, ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed, reporting incidents and acting as the site's Fire Precautions Manager and designated First Aider. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a safety-critical environment, ideally with supervising or team leadership experience. Experience as a Train Carer would be desirable. You will need a strong understanding of Health & Safety, excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities within a busy depot environment. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to high standards and the ability to follow procedures and safety requirements accurately are essential. Personal Track Safety (PTS) competence is also required for the role.
