LOCATION Blackpool CONTRACT TYPE Full-time CONTRACT TERMS Long-term SALARY £65 - £89 per day APPLY BY ASAP JOB START ASAP About the role The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will be able to quickly build a positive relationship with an EYFS pupil, promote their learning and academic progress, and support them with any special educational needs. You will be adept at engaging children with learning activities and helping them maintain focus. You will be key in supporting their success in learning. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be energetic, flexible, patient and be highly motivated to help children reach their full potential. About the school The small primary school in Blackpool welcomes a diverse range of pupils and is seeking a caring and supportive TA who is responsible, reliable and who can adapt their approach to meet the needs of children. The TA should be confident at communicating with children and helping them make the right choices. The school has high standards and expectations of their pupils and prioritises creating a supportive environment for both staff and students. Requirements To be considered for the role of 1-1 Teaching Assistant you will: Have a desire to work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Have a patient and caring nature Have experience working with children or would be prepared to participate in our NTAP (National Teaching Assistant Program) Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
