Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School, Harrow Location: Harrow, London Position: HLTA / Experienced Teaching Assistant Pay Rate: 115- 125 per day (negotiable) Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only A friendly and ambitious primary school in Harrow is seeking a motivated HLTA to join their dedicated team. Role Overview As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting both teachers and pupils. Your responsibilities will include: Providing learning support across various year groups. Delivering lessons and covering classes when required. Supporting engaging and creative teaching to help pupils reach their full potential. Maintaining a positive, well-managed classroom environment. Adapting quickly to the needs of different classes and learning objectives. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: Holds HLTA status or is an experienced Teaching Assistant capable of leading classes. Has strong classroom management and communication skills. Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupil development. Can demonstrate initiative and confidence across all primary key stages.
