Use standard agile development SDLC processes for development management, CI/CD, and automation for infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in security, governance, and data governance and contribute to the continuous improvement of our overall infrastructure and data platform. Takes initiative to develop knowledge in technology products and tools through on the job learning, certifications and projects. Actively participating in Scrum meetings, you'll give timely status updates to the Team Lead and/or Scum Master on areas for which you are responsible. Through agile retrospectives and reviews, you'll analyse and adapt, finding innovative ways to enable your team work more effectively delivering on time to defined standards of quality. You'll need to able to work well under pressure and be adept at taking problems and seeing them through to resolution with minimal supervision. Secondary - with other LSEG staff.Qualifications and Experience:Must have: Shown experience as Senior Software Engineer (minimum 5 years). Strong proficiency with automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Terraform and Rundeck. Experience in RedHat Linux operating systems and strong proficiency in scripting using BASH and Python for automation. Experience in using HPE Synergy platforms and JFrog Artifactory. Experience of working with ServiceNow, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Kafka with pro-active approach to learning about and adapting to new technologies. Experience in using repositories for multi-person, multi-software versions pipelines of delivery. Knowledge of building and using automation and CI/CD pipelines. Use of AGILE Software Development techniques including TDD and/or BDD, and Atlassian toolsets. Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills. Communicates complex information clearly to relevant audiences. Application knowledge and experience preferably gained within a critical support environment. Shown ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail.
