Estimator - 65,000 Plus Package and Bonus Our Client is a leading subcontractor specialising in high-end interior fit-out projects. Their portfolio includes some of the most prestigious commercial developments nationally, where quality and precision are paramount. They take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship across joinery, glazed partitions, drylining, and structural glazing packages. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in estimating interior fit-out packages, including joinery, glazed partitions, drylining, and structural glazing. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in our company's ongoing success. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, focusing on joinery, partitions, drylining, and structural glazing. Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documents to identify scope, requirements, and potential cost-saving opportunities. Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, obtaining competitive quotations. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure all estimates are aligned with project requirements and budgets. Present cost estimates and pricing strategies to senior management, ensuring they reflect the current market conditions and company objectives. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and construction methods related to interior fit-out packages. Track project costs, monitor progress against estimates, and prepare reports for management review. Skills & Experience: In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards specific to interior fit-out projects. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar) and strong MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Relevant qualifications in construction, quantity surveying, or a related field (preferred).
