Classroom Support are excited to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Redhill who are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant required to start in ASAP. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with their individually tailored education plans. IMPORTANT - You need to have or be willing to pay £52.20 for a DBS on the update service. The pay rate is between £85 to £90 per day. Your key duties as a Teaching Assistant will be to: Support the child mainly on a 1:1 basis. Using your experience of effective behaviour management. Solid knowledge and experience of SEN is almost essential Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner. Previous experience of working in a classroom setting will be advantageous Holding a level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be beneficial, but not essential. Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous. It is essential that you have previous experience as a teaching assistant supporting pupils with SEN and being able to help children with their work who are academically struggling. The school is set in a suburban site in Redhill. You will be rewarded with excellent rates of pay.
