Our theatres are equipped with multiparameter monitoring (including capnography), ligasure and laparoscopic facilities. We have a staff room for relaxation on the quieter nights, plus two air-conditioned bedrooms. Join our experienced and collaborative team At night, you will have support from 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses and an additional 'twilight' Vet. Dragon Vets is the largest practice in Cheltenham, and we are fortunate to have around 20 vets working within the practice. Posted on 16/12/2022 The Role Here at Biscot Mill Vet Centre, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. Our Nurses work closely with our team of vets and support staff to ensure the best possible care is provided. Our nurses are well respected and fully supportive so extra training can be given to someone looking to return to nursing, or just starting their qualified nursing career. Our nursing team work across all nursing activities including anaesthesia and theatre, diagnostics including radiography and laboratory work, inpatient duties and nurse consultations; in addition to assisting our Veterinary Surgeons during procedures and consultations. Our nurses are encouraged to pursue special interests and CPD. We are a Training Practice so encourage and support all our nurses to be involved in nurse training. We have a full reception team so minimal reception work is required, allowing nurses to do what they do best! The hours for this role are 30-40 per week, working across 3-5 days a week with various shift patterns.
