Take ownership of Process Guarantee considerations, back-offs to suppliers, and recommendations for acceptable levels of design liability. Keep abreast of latest developments in water and wastewater treatment technologies and equipment, with the ability to translate market developments into effective and competitive solutions. What do you need? Already experienced in designing water and wastewater treatment plants, the Senior Designer will provide full ownership and responsibility for delivering engineering design packages, from the concept and optioneering stage through to the outline and detailed design stage, co-ordinating multi-discipline design input and support from third parties where necessary. To be considered for this role you will need: Knowledge and proven experience in designing complex and integrated water and waste water treatment plants, ideally for industrial applications, encompassing aerobic and anaerobic treatment processes. Experienced in producing P&IDs, plant layouts and in selection and sizing of all process equipment typically employed in waste water treatment plants such as tanks, pumps, filters, valves, pipework, instruments. Proven track record for delivering design packages for capital projects, at complex customer sites. Educated to a minimum of Master's degree level, likely to be in chemical or mechanical engineering. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrable with experience and conscious reflection of the benefits and weaknesses of own approach. Able to work effectively within team environments, influencing direction, decisions and actions of the team, and taking responsibility for outcomes. Excellent organisational skills, able to juggle multiple design priorities concurrently and organise support within team to help produce successful tenders and projects. What benefits do we offer?
