Your new role In this nursery assistant job, you will be joining a creative team of nursery workers dedicated to helping children to develop and explore the world around them. You will be expected to pitch in where required, whether that's creating creative learning activities in mud kitchen and forest school settings, helping to set up and tidy the room, or supporting the other staff, as well as cultivating a safe and engaging environment for the children. What you'll need to succeed We are open to working with any passionate and enthusiastic nursery assistants with recent, relevant experiences that can be referenced. Level 2 and 3 qualifications would be a bonus but are not a requirement as we are open to unqualified nursery workers, too. A good knowledge of EYFS would be desirable, and you will have to be a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. We would also be keen to hear from nursery assistants with Makaton experience. You will need to be reliable, motivated, and dedicated, and the nursery will expect you to be hands on and always willing to help.
