Role: Informatica MDM Platform Lead Duration: 6 months initial Rate: £700 - £750p/d IR35 Status: Inside Location: Hybrid - remote with 2 days a week West London We are currently partnering with a global supply chain and logistics company who are embarking on an ambitious data strategy programme of work to uplift their data capabilities, improving how and when their people use data, and becoming more data-driven as an organisation. This role is focused on building the Informatica toolset capabilities through the technical development of the platform and supporting the development of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. Responsibilities: Develop a Roadmap for the development of the Informatica Toolset based on desired capabilities. Act as Technical Lead for Data projects leveraging Informatica product stack. Define overall Informatica data architecture leveraging CDI, Data Quality & Data Governance concepts. Lead the physical design of the MDM solutions that integrates and matches key data sources in a manner that aligns to company vision. Lead & mentor team of Informatica developers (internal and external) to meet committed project timelines. Ensure Informatica meets the non-functional requirements as a productionised platform. Support the Data Management Lead in development and deployment of MDM solutions. Support the adoption of the MDM platforms by assisting in the creation of training and other educational material. Design, develop, modify, configure & debug Informatica workflows. Employ comprehensive unit testing process to ensure the delivery meets the business requirements without compromising performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Debug, tune, and optimize code for optimal performance. Development and implementation of a Informatica platform strategy. Enabling, Informatica (CDGC), as a data governance tool, to drive data democratisation Development, maintenance, and enhancement of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and processes Ensure MDM and more widely Data Engineering goals and objectives are met. Experience: Experience of working for a global firm Must have led at least two end-to-end projects using Informatica technology stack with team size of more than three developers. At least 5 years of experience in a technical Informatica strategy or delivery role. Worked in an Agile environment. Knowledge of master data management. Implementation of data management projects.
