There are also communal areas which are used for a variety of social functions plus private landscaped gardens for our residents to enjoy. The role of our Care Assistant: You will assist the people we support in participating in activities both within the Home and outside as well as escorting them to appointments in the community To fulfil a range of personal care tasks and other care work for both male and female people we support with various physical and emotional needs You will assist with simple food preparation on the suites and serve all meals to the people we support. To work flexibly over a 24/7, 365 days a year basis, according to the demands of the service You will be required to assist housekeeping staff with keeping communal areas clean and odour free Skills and attributes of our Care Assistant: Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or in the community. An awareness and understanding of high-quality home care. Good communication skills, patience, and flexibility. An understanding of safeguarding and person-centred support.
