Alongside the technical aspects of the role, you'll work closely with third parties, from owners' engineers to OEM's and technology providers and be responsible for certain contract negotiations, contract management and tendering. You'll need to have a Civil/Structural Engineering Degree which is accepted entry for Chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution for Structural Engineers. Expertise in designing using current & historic UK codes and analysis techniques is as important as your ability to manage multiple projects to a high standard. You will need to hold a UK driving license and have a broad range of relevant postgraduate UK building design & construction experience. This includes daily position management tasks, wholesale contract trading (both prompt and curve), flex transactions and ad-hoc queries.
