We are looking for an AI Engineer to contribute to our mission to improve our patients' health and their lives, with the development of our web applications. This is a hybrid role for our office in London (UK) or Sofia (BG). Who you are You're an experienced software engineer with 4+ years of commercial experience in commercial AI applications and use cases. You are customer focused and excited about making an impact on a product that drives positive change to the lives of millions of people around the world. What you will do Build impactful AI solutions to transform healthcare Develop and integrate AI-driven capabilities to improve the productivity and quality of decision making of our doctors, clinicians and nutrition experts (by automating routine tasks or enabling advanced data analysis) and build AI-native products that can assist our customers with behavioural change. Leverage out-of-the-box AI/ML technologies (LLMs, RAG, embeddings) to create practical and scalable solutions for real-world use cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Support) to identify opportunities & customer needs and translate them into AI-powered features. Proactively share AI best practices with our Product & Engineering teams, and advocate for innovative solutions that can further improve our products. Minimum Requirements At least 4 years of commercial experience in developing & deploying AI/ML powered applications. Practical experience with Python and familiarity with frameworks such as FastAPI, TensorFlow, LangChain / LlamaIndex. Familiarity with prompt engineering, embeddings & RAG, and vector databases. Experience with AWS ML capabilities (e.g. SageMaker, Bedrock) or their GCP/Azure equivalents. Experience with evaluating and improving the accuracy, efficiency and performance of LLM and RAG implementations and use cases. Track record of working autonomously, owning end-to-end outcomes, and influencing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Great verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in a simple way to non-engineering teammates and stakeholders. This is a hybrid role and you need to be based in London (UK) or Sofia (BG) so you can be in the office 3 days per week.
