Qualifications & Experience: You should have a minimum of Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification (or be willing to work towards this), an ability to grasp and apply Health and safety procedures, knowledge of food allergens and cross contamination principles. Other food industry qualifications and experience would be an advantage. You will have a friendly manner and willingness to learn, work hard and deliver a great service. You will use your initiative to be able to solve routine issues if/when they arise and ensure you always adopt safe working practices. In this role team working and independent working skills are equally important, as is the ability to adopt good working relationships and communicate well with others. A good grasp of the English language is essential as you will be required to understand and follow written instructions. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
