Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an organised and customer-focused Hire Desk Coordinator to join their busy operations team. This role sits at the heart of the business - coordinating hires, supporting customers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The Role You'll be responsible for managing incoming hire requests and coordinating logistics to ensure efficient service delivery. Key responsibilities include: Handling inbound hire enquiries via phone and email Coordinating equipment availability and scheduling Processing hire orders, contracts, and documentation Liaising with drivers, engineers, and operations teams Providing accurate information on availability, pricing, and timelines Managing customer relationships and delivering excellent service Supporting billing, off-hires, and general administration Ensuring all records are accurate and up to date The Candidate We're looking for someone organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician Cardiff (Outskirts - easy access from M4 / A470)Competitive Salary (DOE) + BenefitsFull-Time, Permanent About the Opportunity Paradigm Employment Services are working on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering and vehicle services business in the Cardiff area. Due to continued demand, they are looking to appoint an experienced LCV Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on role working across a mixed fleet of light commercial vehicles (LCVs), vans, and cars , offering variety and long-term stability within a supportive workshop environment. The Role You'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical duties, ensuring vehicles are maintained to high safety and performance standards. Key responsibilities include: Servicing and routine maintenance of LCVs, vans, and cars Diagnostics and fault finding Mechanical repairs (engine, brakes, suspension, etc.) Vehicle inspections and health checks Preparing vehicles for MOT testing Supporting MOT testing (if qualified) Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards Maintaining accurate service and repair records The Candidate We're looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
