Are you passionate about children s literacy? Do you want to use your skills and experience to enable opportunity for children living with little or no access to books and reading? Can you help create a home environment where reading for pleasure is part of the fabric of family life? If so, read on - we may have just the job for you here at Doorstep Library! We are looking for a Reading Project Leader, to deliver some of our reading projects in London, on a part-time, term-time only basis. You will lead a team of volunteers on three projects per week, being present at a community base while your volunteer team visits local families and reads with children,and reading with families yourself at times. You will be a resourceful, confident decision maker able to operate independently on the ground to support your team and be able to engage with our community partners and beneficiaries.
