Circle Collective is a London-based youth employment charity working with communities to improve access to employment, training, and life opportunities for young people. We focus on partnership-led, place-based approaches, working with local authorities, employers, housing providers, and community organisations to deliver programmes that respond to local need. We support young people aged to access real opportunities, develop confidence, and secure sustainable employment. We are looking for an experienced Senior Job Coach to play a key role in delivering our Back Your Future programme in Lewisham. This is a senior, hands-on role combining direct work with young people and responsibility for driving performance, employer engagement, safeguarding practice, and programme quality. You will manage a complex caseload of young people facing a range of barriers to employment, while also contributing to KPI delivery, CRM data quality, funder reporting, and continuous improvement across the programme. You will deliver high-quality one-to-one coaching and group employability workshops, develop tailored action plans, and support young people to progress into sustained employment, education, or training. You will maintain high expectations of engagement and progression, using data and professional judgement to identify risks early and put effective interventions in place. Alongside delivery, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong employer partnerships. This includes working closely with corporate partners to plan and deliver employer engagement activity such as insight days, mock interviews, mentoring, and recruitment opportunities, as well as proactively bringing new employers on board to expand the range of work experience and job outcomes available to young people. Safeguarding is central to this role. You will actively promote the welfare of young people, identify and manage safeguarding concerns, complete risk assessments, and work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure young people receive coordinated and appropriate support. You will contribute to a culture of trauma-informed, youth-centred practice across the programme. As a senior practitioner, you will take responsibility for accurate CRM data entry and quality assurance, including completing regular compliance checks to ensure evidence, outcomes, and KPIs are recorded to a high standard. You will contribute to funder reporting, audits, and internal performance reviews, using insight and learning to support ongoing programme development. We are looking for an experienced employability professional with a strong track record of achieving job outcomes in a target-driven or contract-funded environment, confidence working with data and performance measures, and a genuine commitment to supporting young people to succeed. Experience of employer engagement, safeguarding, and working with young people facing complex barriers is essential. If you are motivated by impact, value collaboration and lived experience, and want to play a meaningful role in helping young people move into sustainable employment, we would love to hear from you.
