Semi - Senior Accountant £32,000 Manchester City Centre Permanent Role Overview: A Semi Senior Accountant opportunity to join a small team but growing team. This opportunity offers great exposure to a variety of different client types and an ability to grow within the firm. The ideal person will be friendly and looking to further develop their career in accountancy. Responsibilities: Managing portfolio of clients including all communications, calls and emails. Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Completing VAT and MTD ITSA for clients. Preparing self-assessments for clients. Engaging with the culture of providing support to both clients and other members of staff. Requirements: Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, & Xero. Knowledge of taxcalc is preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years of experience within an accountancy practice. 3 years preferred. Demonstrated mentoring capabilities or experience supporting junior team members is desirable. Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team environment.
