The successful candidate will provide structured learning while maintaining routine and boundaries throughout the school day, helping the student access their learning. Experience using PECS, Makaton or Communication Boards/books. Experience working with SEN children that have communication needs. Can build strong, trusting relationships with the student and staff. Happy to assist with personal care if needed. L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, SEND, Care or Psychology qualification. Looking to recruit a Midday Support Assistant to play a vital role in ensuring students are safe, supported, and engaged during the lunchtime period. For this role you will work under the direction of the Post 16 Campus leadership team and support students with Learning Difficulties to access lunch, social activities and unstructured time in a positive and inclusive way.
